Our objective here at Silver Stallion Ranch is to expose inner-city children to an alternative lifestyle that may lead to:

• Possible rural-based careers (horse-shoer, veterinarian, horse trainer, ranch owner, stable manager....)

• Better scores on state achievement tests focusing on rural-based questions

• Developing a love and appreciation for horses, farm animals, and nature

The ranch opened its barn doors in 1992. We were small and enthusiastic, with a small clientele. That enthusiasm has lasted for
16 years and our clientele base is now larger than ever.

We are planning now for bigger and better future events, so keep in touch to see what's happening.
